Interfaith spiritual leaders are called on to create or lead ceremonies and rituals for an expanding range of life events, with people of any or no faith tradition.  How do we prepare for our role in leading a ritual? What are the general elements, or specific kinds of rituals that we may need to be familiar with?

In this course, participants will deepen spiritual confidence, grace, respect and humility to craft meaningful rituals that speak to the wholeness of those we serve. Sessions in this course introduce diverse ceremonies including: grief rituals; gender/ name transition rituals; funerals/memorials; earth/climate rituals; weddings/commitment rituals. The multifaith elements of ceremony will be explored as well as practices of creating and holding sacred space.
