Acrossfaiths Foundation will be celebrating the 2025 World Interfaith Harmony Week in Ghana with a series of interfaith activities and community engagement from 1st to 7th February 2025. The events will focus on religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence and climate change actions, for sustainable development. The activities will involve Community Interfaith Declaration, Greening our Religious compounds and School Spaces and Community Engagement on interfaith Harmony Week and getting everyone involved. 1. We start our week celebration by holding an Interfaith Community and Religious leaders declaration, where our leaders will show their support. People from different religious backgrounds will come together to promote unity and understanding among various Faiths, committing to work together on social issues, fostering dialogue, and promoting peace and harmony. 2. Greening our Religious compounds and School Spaces: the launch of interfaith climate change projects dubbed ‘Trees for life, reforesting our communities through interfaith climate action’. We seek to plant over 100 tree seedlings in Schools, Churches, Mosque and other very important places in our communities during the week's celebration. 3.. Community Engagement: organize forum with community leaders, Chiefs, Imams, Pastors and opinion leaders. These will collaborate with individuals and organizations from diverse religious backgrounds to build relationships and foster understanding among people of different Faiths. To help break down the stereotypes and build bridges among diverse religious Faiths. Acrossfaiths Foundation, is a leading interfaith organization based in Ghana, committed to fostering peaceful coexistence, interfaith understanding, preventing religious extremism in Africa and promoting climate change activities among Interfaith. Over the past few years, religious conflicts and extremism have posed significant challenges to peace and stability in Africa. At the Acrossfaiths Foundation, we firmly believe that through proactive dialogue, education, and community engagement, we can address these root causes and create a more tolerant and peaceful society. Our work focuses on creating platforms where religious leaders, educators, students, community members and policymakers can collaborate to promote understanding and prevent violent extremism. We are confident that our shared commitment to climate actions, peace and development with the support and partnership between organizations is a strategic and impactful opportunity to reach our objectives. We believe outside support would play a crucial role in advancing our initiatives and creating sustainable, interfaith peace in vulnerable communities ACROSSFAITHS FOUNDATION WORLD INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK 2025 PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES 1..
