As part of World Interfaith Harmony Week 2025, we will host a Town Hall meeting titled Sustaining the Culture of Peace in Holleta City. This event will bring together diverse faith groups, community leaders, traditional elders, and peace & security officials to discuss and celebrate local peacebuilding efforts. The focus will be on community-led conflict resolution, promoting long-term peace, and fostering religious tolerance. The meeting will empower local peacebuilders, especially those supported by the JISRA Project, and strengthen collaboration across faiths to resolve conflicts in the community. Through discussions, interactive workshops, and media outreach, this event aims to build a lasting culture of peace in Ethiopia’s conflict-prone zones. This effort is part of our broader strategy to establish interfaith peace mechanisms and expand media-driven peace campaigns, ensuring that these peacebuilding models continue to grow and are adopted across the country.
