The Role of Religious Communities in Africa:
Advancing Peace, Human Dignity, Preservation of the Environment, and
Freedom of Religion or Belief.
The event will be held at the African Union Nelson Mandela Conference Hall on February 28, 2023 under the patronage of H.E. Sahle-Work Zewde, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
You are invited to attend the event in person. In order for appropriate preparations to be made, you are respectfully requested to RSVP by filling out the following registration form. This will automatically register you for participation in the conference and will assure that you have further information about the details of the event’s programme. The event will commence at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, and a group photo will be taken following the formal opening of the celebration. The central focus will be on calls for action to serve the world’s most vulnerable communities and to address action grounded in meaningful inclusion of all world citizens, including recommendations that will be transmitted to G20 leaders about steps needed to address critical African issues.
