As Founding Coordinator for Gita4Life Campaign, #gita4life, I would like to appreciate and support the initiative for global peace made by World Interfaith Harmony Week. The mission of Gita4Life Campaign align with the mission of WIHW as both are concerned with interreligious and intercultural understanding for global peace, cooperation and wellbeing.

As a scholar I have been working on the teachings of the Gita from interspiritual perspective, and I have found that the teachings of the Gita can be comprehensive guidelines for promotion of tolerance and harmony among people with different faiths. Realizing, its global significance, the campaign has been working in collaboration with various national and international organizations committed to personal, societal and global wellbeing.
