Welcome to this World Interfaith Harmony Week series of Creating Sacred Space: Awakening the Heart. We are offering interactive sessions where we create sacred space based on multiple faith traditions and cultures. Through these we can awaken the heart to be a source of harmony, peace, inner strength, and compassion. By awakening and healing our own heart, we can be a source of healing for others, thereby inspiring service to all LIFE: Love In Full Expression. Just as we can open up to the same sky through windows of different shapes and colours, there are many pathways to awakening the heart and mind through sacred space and healing.
Feb 7th, 4pm PST

Title: SiSiWiss Indigenous Medicine Circle
Faith Tradition: SiSiWiss (Indigenous Pacific Northwest Coast North America)
Description:
This inclusive spiritual practice is called SiSiWiss (pronounced See See Wiss), which translates into English as sacred breath or sacred life. SiSiWiss spiritual practice originates from the San Juan Islands in the United States and spread as a spiritual practice all through western Washington State down to Siletz, Oregon. SiSiWiss Medicine practice also spread to many of the Gulf Islands, including Vancouver Island and much of the NW coastal areas of British Columbia, Canada. The practice of SiSiWiss is understood as a medicine way or healing path. Please join us for this interactive medicine circle of singing, drumming, and story telling. Feel free to bring a traditional drum or rattle if you like. EHychka (Thank you)!
