The World Interfaith Harmony Week The Importance of Interfaith Collaboration Religions for Peace UK On 5 February 2025, we celebrated the World Interfaith Harmony Week with an inspiring panel discussion: “Harmony Week 2025: Interfaith Collaboration” We had an incredible session exploring the power of interfaith collaboration in fostering peace, sustainability, and social impact. Our amazing speakers have all been Religions for Peace UK collaborators, on personal as well as organisational levels. They shared their journeys of breaking barriers and building bridges between faith and non-faith communities while addressing pressing societal challenges. 🎤 Our inspiring panelists: Greshma Raju – Founder of EcoPeace Teen Café, climate & peace educator Ralph Boer – Leader at Hillsong Church’s London Refugee Response, championing refugee support Alavari Jeevathol (AJ) – National Coordinator, Young Humanists UK, interfaith advocate Key Takeaways from the Event: Climate Action & Interfaith Dialogue: Greshma Raju highlighted the power of youth-led sustainability initiatives like the UKIYN EcoPeace Café. Refugee Integration through Hospitality: Ralph Boer shared how community cafés are creating safe spaces for refugees in London, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural exchange. And his collaboration with RfPUK. Humanist & Multifaith Youth Leadership: Alavari Jeevathol explored how interfaith study, mindfulness, and activism can drive positive change.
