World Interfaith Harmony Week begins today

The World Interfaith Harmony Week begins today with a view to building peaceful relationships among the adherents of the world’s religions.
From now on, first week of February will be observed as the World Interfaith Harmony Week across the globe every year.

To mark this week, Department of World Religions and Culture of Dhaka University (DU) will organise different programmes.The department is arranging an exhibition at Batamul in front of Arts Faculty as part of the programme.Vice Chancellor (VC) of DU Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the exhibition after taking part at a colourful procession. Besides, a discussion meeting will be held at the same venue on 7 February 7 where noted personalities of the society will take part.
