Human Fraternity and Interfaith Dialogue as a Factor of Peace and Stability

The report presents the results of the Week of Scientific, Cultural, and Educational Events dedicated to World Interfaith Harmony Week 2026, organized by the UNESCO Chair in the Comparative Study of World Religions at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. The events were held from 3–6 February 2026 in Tashkent and Bukhara under the theme “Human Fraternity and Interfaith Dialogue as a Factor of Peace and Stability.” 
 
The program included several academic and cultural activities:
• International Scientific and Practical Seminar on Human Fraternity and Interfaith Dialogue
• Student Scientific and Practical Conference on Guidelines in Religious Teachings for the Development of Society
• Interfaith dialogue meeting “Friendship Table”
• Educational Interfaith Friendship Tour to religious communities
• Student Creative Competition promoting tolerance and solidarity.
More than 2,000 participants, including scholars, religious leaders, students, and representatives of international organizations, took part in the week’s events. The initiative created a platform for academic dialogue, youth engagement, and cooperation among representatives of different religious traditions and social institutions.
The International Scientific and Practical Seminar concluded with the adoption of a Final Communiqué, summarizing the key discussions and recommendations of the participants, while the proceedings of the Student Scientific and Practical Conference are currently undergoing final editing and preparation for publication.
