Congratulations to the Jordanian monarch for proposing the World Interfaith Harmony Week contest, and to the United Nations, for accepting this innovative idea.

This initiative has sent a ripple of excitement around the world and has inspired many organizations worldwide to bring to fruition whatever interfaith project they were working on.

And while only few will be recognized as winners, I believe every one who participates will be a winner. All of us will learn from others about unique ways to promote interfaith harmony. What a wonderful, positive, and proactive way to compete instead of through random or targeted acts of violence in the name of the Reality!
