WIHW Breakfast & Panel Discussion

It is a panel discussion convened by the Cape Jewish Board of Deputies. URI Regional office and CC members are cooperating in the event. The panel discussion subject is Racism ends with me - How communities can put an end to racism. The event consists of a breakfast and panel discussion at the Cafe attached to the Jewish Museum and Holocaust Centre. We hope to achieve greater awareness, introspection and broader perspectives on exactly what constitutes racism, how embedded it is in our society, and how we can overcome it. Racism is not just about race, but can be a derogatory perception of anyone who is different in any way including those of different religions. Cape Jewish Board of Deputies is not a CC and it is not a URI event, but it is an event we are actively supporting and participating in both at CC and regional office level.
