THEA’S TURN, a full length contemporary drama with music based on the life of Sister Thea Bowman, a southern African American of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
All are welcome to celebrate the exuberant life of this joyfully spiritual woman.
This celebration on the African American History Month with a staged reading of Mary Queen Donnelly’s book is a way to learn how to fight prejudice, suspicion, hatred and things that drive people apart. It is a way to celebrate Interfaith Harmony Week.
