OPEN QUIZ ON HOLY SCRIPTURES

As done in the past two years during the Interfaith harmony Week, United Religions Initiative South India Region in collaboration with International Public School, Karickam will conduct an open quiz on 2nd february, 2013. Any one irrespective of age cn contest. we expect more than 100 participants this year.Sudents from various schools and colleges will be invited. The quiz will be based on Holy Scriptures. This will give an excellent opportunity for younger ones to come into contact with scripyures of other religions. several surveys have revealed that the student community is ignorant about the'other'. An interfaith seminr will also be conducted in conjunction with this.

International Sufi Rang Festival

Chishty Foundation's event International Sufi Rang Festival is based on the blessed vision ,principle and message of "Love towards all, Malice towards none" for the whole of Humanity which is the blessed message of Hz.Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (r.a) popularly known as Khawaja Gharib Nawaz (r.a). It’s a universal message for the whole of humanity that we may love and respect the best of creations i.e. Human beings, among all the creations of the One Almighty Creator Allah (swt). The Interfaith message for Indian Sub-Continent and its people living in harmony from last 800 years and continue to do so. Our aim in creating this event is to realizes a blessed vision and to create a platform for people from around the world and walks of lives who believe in blessed message i.e. to love and serve the Humanity ( Khidmat e Khalq ) and to spread the message with all its essence among the people of our beautiful planet Earth . In today’s troubled times we believes that the message the great Sufi’s n Saints is the not just a way but it is the ONLY way for the solutions of the World problems and a perfect road map towards the Path of Love ,Peace n Brotherhood among the whole Humanity . As part of the larger picture through the blessed platform of Chishty Foundation ,we intend to promote the blessed Sufi teachings of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz , Sufi Art of Calligraphy , Sufi Poetry culture , Sufi music and concepts of Spirituality and Music and a strong connection between a Higher state of awearness of the Divine presence through Sama and Qawalli – The Chishty Sufi’s food for the Soul . This concept is yet to have a full vision and realization for the essence of complete Sufi understanding and teachings. How Muslims Relate to Christians

Event on 8 February 2014 at Finsbury Park Mosque, St Thomas ' Road, London , N4 2QH . We will have two Islamic scholars speaking: Dr Salim Al-Shoumari from Kuwait and Dr M Adil Salahi from Syria . They will be exploring how Muslims relate to Christians, followed by a Christian response. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, the programme will start at 13.00 and finish by 16.00, lunch included.

This event is unique in the sense that a local suburban Christian Church and a local Sikh community are combining to organise an interfaith evening with the theme: MISSION IN WORLD RELIGIONS". The meal will be provided by the Sikh community and served in the spirit of traditional Langar hospitality. Internationally recognised scholars from different religions will be filmed being interviewed about their views on the theme: MISSION IN WORLD RELIGIONS. This filming will form the basis for the production of YouTube clips for posting on our website. www.interfaithinaction.or.au This event will be the first public event in a two day (11th, 12th Feb. 2014) series of academic forums/seminars focussed on the scholars preparation of material for the publication of a book entitled MISSION IN WORLD RELIGIONS to be edited by Dr Aaron Ghiloni. Peace...without Discrimination We participated in the last Event 2013 with a message called " a world without Signs" Now , we ask you to follow our second message which calls " Peace....without Discrimination". We invite you from Gamal Farghaly Sultan Secondary School at one of Upper Egypt Governorate called Assuit City. We invite all of you to follow PEACE , the massage of Heaven To Earth. We asked you to follow Love , Tolerance, and Brotherhood ;as we one nation from one Source(Adam and Hawa). Inside our hearts , there is a great believing that we are believing in One God called Allah. To convey our message , we hold a party for a Christian retired teacher. We invited different parties and sectors inside our city to attend this peaceful party Provided that no one carry a certain symbols because our believing hearts. Our Purpose is to create One Nation without Discrimination , without any symbols to live in Peace , as come from One Source. We believe that this is better for our Community, globe and Our humanity. Community Expo of Beliefs and Ideas

A “Community Expo of Beliefs and Ideas” will take place at the Surrey City Center Library, 10350 University Drive, on Saturday, February 1 from 10:30am to 4:30pm. This event is affiliated with the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week. Registration is not required, but space is limited. All programs are free and light refreshments will be served. This day-long Community Expo will feature information booths from a range of religious, spiritual and philosophical groups in Surrey as well as a number of experiential sessions and activities open to the public. The aim of this event is to engage a broad cross-section of the community in learning about the plurality of worldviews in Surrey in a safe and non-judgmental setting. Experiential sessions will take place in Room 120 throughout the day. These sessions will include: a blessing from a local First Nations elder, a music yoga session with the Sahaja Yoga group, a performance by the Punjabi Masihi Church choir, chanting with the Soka Gakkei Buddhist group, a performance by a Muslim Children’s Nasheed group and a Satsang with the Art of Living Foundation. The Main Program from 2:00pm to 4:00pm will include music, meditation, and an interfaith panel discussion featuring speakers from five local faith traditions. The Main Program is presented by the Global Clergy Association of Canada, a group of clergy from different faith traditions that work together to promote harmony and understanding in the community. A community meditation event will take place throughout the day in the Library’s meditation room on the second floor. People from all religious, spiritual and philosophical backgrounds are invited to take part in this event by signing up to meditate for 15 minutes. Organizers hope that this event will demonstrate the range of traditions in our community that incorporate some form of meditation into their spiritual practice. A “Wall of Beliefs” will be on display in the main atrium of the Library. People from all religious, spiritual and philosophical backgrounds will be invited to respond to the prompt: “I believe…” by writing their response on a sticky-note and posting it on the wall. Organizers hope that by the end of the day the “Wall of Beliefs” will be an engaging visual representation of the diverse range of beliefs that make up our community. Children’s Storytimes will take place in the children’s area at times throughout the day. Children and families will be treated to a range of engaging stories from the world’s wisdom traditions. This event is open to people from all religious, spiritual and philosophical traditions. The Progressive Intercultural Services (PICS) Society is the lead agency for this event, with funding from EmbraceBC’s Interfaith Bridging grant. The community partners for this event are Surrey Libraries, the Global Clergy Association of Canada, and the Surrey Interfaith Council. INTERNATIONAL INTERFAITH HARMONY SEMINAR AND AWARDS

Ma'din Academy, Kerala, India collaborates International Islamic University, Malaysia and Department of National Unity and Integration,Prime Minister Department, Kuala Lumpur to organize Interfaith Harmony Seminar and Awards 0n 3-8 February 2014 in International Islamic University , Malaysia. This is the third year that Ma'din Academy conducts this annual mega event in connection with United Nations Harmony Week celebration. Ma'din also conducts different events in India in February 2014 to promote interfaith harmony and multi culturalism.
