Below are the list of WIHW events that took place globally for the year of 2013.
Breakfast for the World Interfaith Harmony Week 2013

Location: Town Hall, all state capital cities + regional cities, AU
All state capitals in Australia are invited to:
1. invite people from many faiths, particularly those from the Jewish, Christian and Islamic communities, or those with no faith at all to a breakfast on Tuesday, 2nd February 2013 in their town hall.
2. to invite all the major cities in their state to do the same.
Three speakers are invited, one each from the Jewish, Christian and Islamic faiths (the order is set in historical sequence)to speak for about 10 minutes:
* about ways to cross interfaith bridges,
* about ways to communicate between the religions
* and find ways to integrate our children and teenagers in healthy peaceful discussion.
Indonesian Youth Striving for Global Interfaith Harmony

Every year, Anand Ashram Foundation is actively taking part in promoting World Interfaith Harmony Week. This year, in cooperation with International Youth Challenges & Empowerment, National Integration Movement, Islamic Movement for Non-Violence, Indonesian Women's Association for Global Peace, One Earth School, etc, Anand Ashram Foundation will conduct various programmes to celebrate the week of Interfaith Harmony, located in Ubud-Bali, Jogjakarta-Central Java, One Earth Retreat Centre-West Java and Monas-Jakarta.
The Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders' Global Prayers of Hope Event

The Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders will lead single-faith, multi-faith and interfaith Prayers of Hope events over a period of 3 days - Friday to Sunday - in 5 continents and involving at least 6 religions.
The spearhead event will be held in Jerusalem, as a symbol of the power of prayer to express and inspire hope in a world where the encounter with the outward appearance of 'reality' could lead to despair. We will celebrate diversity within unity and the power of human beings to imbue their lives with meaning by working towards well-being for all.

On the occasion of official UN Week, World Interfaith Harmony Week, "World Interfaith Harmony & Global Peace Day" will be organized at Shahjahanpur, Uttar-Pradesh, India on 7th February, 2013. In this event people will be taught to strengthen interfaith harmony. In this event a mass gathering of common people of all religions and faiths will be collected to make this event successful to spread the message of peace and harmony. Slogans of peace, Banner containing the message of peace and harmony, All religions prayer for harmony and peace, A show of movie with a theme of peace and harmony, Harmony Breakfast and Lunch to all the participants etc. are the main attractions of this event.Renowned peace and human rights activist Ms. Cordula Giewald from Technical University, Ilmenau, Germany will be present to hold the program as a chief guest. This event is being organized online on facebook too for publicity purpose and for spreading the message of interfaith harmony and peace globally.

Celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Through Stories, Chants, Dance, Retreats

It has been said, "An enemy is one whose story we have not heard!" Our celebrations begin with 2 classes at our Ashrama Friday 2/1 entitled "Universal Religion" by a Sister of the Sri Sarada Math of India, an independent women's monastic order. Saturday 2/2 starting at 10:30am our interfaith program at The Shrine opens with an invocation to the Divine by drum, conch, gong, shofar. Then a panel of 6 multifaith speakers will share an inspiring story of different faiths living and working together, followed by a pot-luck lunch. In the afternoon a talk on "Universal Principles of Hinduism as taught by Swami Vivekananda" by the Sister, followed by questions/ answers/ discussion. Then a small break, some interfaith chants, followed by a program organized by Dances for Universal Peace. Three retreats will follow at other venues: 2/4 to 2/6 "3 Steps of Vedanta (Universal Wisdom)", 2/8 to 2/14 "Faces of God in the Age of Reason" (women only), 2/16 to 2/18 "The Yoga Sutras & the 4 Yogas of Vivekananda" (How to control, harmonize and express our inner nature.)

The United Nations Organization's General Assembly declared on the 20th of October that the first week of February in every year would be UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, calling on all the various actors of the international order to support awareness of religious plurality with appropriate programmes. A Public Discussion on
“Intellectual Approaches to Interfaith Relations in the World”
