National Students Interfaith Forum Monday 04 February 2013 10:30-17:00 Manchester Met Students' Union What is it? Many students and students’ union officers are active in building understanding about different religious communities, and improving relations between different faith groups on campus. The inter-faith forum brings these students and officers together providing them the opportunity to: network; share and develop ideas for inter-faith events and projects; gain new skills and knowledge (with training from inter-faith practitioners); as well as support the NUS student inter-faith project develop training and resources for students' unions. If you organise inter-faith activities at your students’ union or university we would like you to take part in the next forum. Who should attend? Students who have been organising interfaith activities at their university/college, including faith society committee members Students’ union officers Students’ union staff Cost The training is free to attend, however if a delegate registers for the event and fails to attend, NUS will charge the Students Union for the full costs incurred. World Interfaith Harmony Week to Be Observed in London By UPF - UK London, UK - Youth UPF is organizing a World Interfaith Harmony Week event in London the first week of February. UPF-Pakistan - Essay Contest

Interfaith Harmony Week Activities Planned in Pakistan By RYS - Pakistan Multan, Pakistan - Religious Youth Service-Pakistan will observe World Interfaith Harmony Week in Multan with a variety of activities from February 1 to 7 under the supervision of the Society for the Promotion of Education and Awareness. Essay Competition: The Society for the Promotion of Education and Awareness (SEAP-Pakistan) is conducting an Essay Competition among students of different institutions on the topic: Interfaith Harmony and Global Peace. The language for the essay competition will be English. RYS-Pakistan will award shields and certificates to the winners of all of the categories during a Folk Music Concert during World Interfaith Harmony Week. All of the participating students will be awarded Certificate of Participation. Apart from this, a synthesis of the best essays in all categories will be compiled in the form of a booklet. Interfaith Harmony Week Activities Planned in Pakistan By RYS - Pakistan Multan, Pakistan - Religious Youth Service-Pakistan will observe World Interfaith Harmony Week in Multan with a variety of activities from February 1 to 7 under the supervision of the Society for the Promotion of Education and Awareness. Interfaith Harmony Breakfast, February 1, at SEAP-Pakistan's National Secretariat. Around 30 people from different faiths living in Pakistan will get together for the Interfaith Harmony Breakfast.
