Ljus På Medis - Interfaith Harmony Festival

A workshop session followed by a Light Celebration at Medborgarplatsen, a square in central stockholm. Workshops will include music, dreative arts, non-violence training and a study session on religious texts and creative wirting on the theme of "Light and darkness".
the light Celebration will be held at 6 pm, featuring work that has been done in the workshops.

GJU INTERFAITH HARMONY DAY

  A  group  of   students   from the GJU  community service  Club,  an  active  student    club   of   the   Deanship  of  Student  Affairs   at   the  German  Jordanian   university   are   organizing  a   Harmony  day   In  Jordan. The  Interfaith   Harmony  Day  will   be  held   at   the  14th  Feb. the  day  will  start  with   visiting  to   King   Hussien's  mosque  and  listen  to  a  Muslim  scholar  about  similarities  and   understanding   between  Islam &  Christianity   in   Jordan.  Then  the  students  will  visit  the  mosaic  church  in  the  city of  Madba  and   listen  to   priest  about   true   meaning  of   harmony  between  religions  in  Jordan.  Students   will  aslo  go  to  M.nebo & the  baptism site. For  adding  a  new  thing  for  the  Event  a  group of 14 Muslim and  Christian  orphanages  will  be  with  students  the  whole  day.

Special Conference Of Religious Educators (SCORE) 2012

 As part of activities to commemorate the World Interfaith Harmony week, Global Educators for All Initiative is convening a Special Conference Of Religious Educators (SCORE) that will bring together religious studies teachers from schools and religious leaders and practitioners for discussions on the need and strategy for interreligious education. 
Also, GEFAI shall launch the Interreligious Ambassadors program that will commission individuals who demonstrate commitments to promoting interreligious harmony and engaging in interreligious practices. 
It is our hope this dialogue of religious educators will lead to the development of a National Interreligious Policy and dedication of a day to be observed nationwide as National Interreligious Day, where we honor our common creator as well as recognize men and women working with and for the Creator
