Six Cooperation Circle of the United Religion Initiative organized a potluck festival to commemorate interfaith Harmony Week on 16th February 2020 . Each Group cooked their own traditional Dish and presented with traditional attire , celebrating and strengthening interfaith relationship. Members prepared food on their own choice and brought to the event started at 3 pm with an interfaith prayer . A small gathering of 90 people prompted the need of coming together and stay united at the time of when chaotic and divisive forces in the country upraising. Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist participated addressing their concerns and commitment to uphold the beauty of the natural fabric of the country of being true secular. People need to unite to heal and to stand together for the unity. During the Fest young musician sang the songs of Sufi . Discussion on UN sustainable Development goals enriched community members to learn more on how they can promote each goals in their respective area, the football game on SDGs was very useful to draw attention , so people can read the goals written on the football and relate easily. At the end Jute bags were distributed to the groups in promotion of environmental care , and to continue the campaign of plastic ban. Participated Groups are - Ektaan Cooperation Circle, Interfaith Youth Council, Nayi Roshni Cooperation Circle, Vidyasagar Academy, Swapno Bastabe Cooperation Circle, Rural Development Society, and another partner organization Empowering India
