68. WIHW Zamboanga 2023 celebration
Dear Friends: Greetings of Dialogue and Peace! Enclosed you can see the video/documentation of the activities done this year: https://youtu.be/qWvufHWfs6A on the occasion of the World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) 2023 together with the partners of Zamboanga. We also present a few pictures of the activities of other partners in other cities. This year, we in Zamboanga remember the tenth anniversary of the siege/war inside the city that destroyed part of the city. In spite of this sad event, at that time, we continue our celebration of the WIHW and we continue to inspire many others partners on national level to celebrate the WIHW. Personally, I remember with gratitude the occasion when in 2014, I had the chance to be in Aman and meet King Abdullah and many of those who have worked hard for the promotion of the WIHW, including Prince Gazi. I hope you can appreciate what we are doing and share with others to inspire many. Unfortunately, the people of the city of Zamboanga where we have contacted many of the activities presented in the video have suffered a lot in the past months, because of calamities, especially heavy rain in the city and also many forms of violence. We are preparing to have in Zamboanga the second national gathering of the partners of the WIHW. The day will be on April 28 and 29. I hope you can send a message of solidarity on that occasion using our email. We will send the official program when it is ready. Thank you very much. Continue to inspire many, in spite of many signs of wars and calamities around the world.
