Three organizations came together under the Umbrella of Peace Starts with Me Alliance. The organizations were The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, whose local church, the Salt Lake Family Church hosted the event. The Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living and the Universal Peace Federation were the other co-sponsoring organizations. The event consisted of beautiful music, prayers, lighting of candles and speeches by 4 faith Leaders. The speakers were Fr. Langes Silva from the Catholic Diocese, Karamea Edwards from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Indra Neelameggham from the Hindu Community and Pastor Michael Stovall of the Salt Lake Family Church. They were all asked to speak about from their faith's perspective. the program closed with the extinguishing of the candles and everyone singing Let there be Peace on Earth, followed by refreshments and chatting with everyone.
