Public Discourse—Racism and Discrimination - February 25, 2025

A Public Discourse on Racism and Discrimination hosted by The Interfaith Alliance of Hawai`i (TIAH) and the Ko'olaupoko Bahá'í Community was held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the National Bahá'í Center of the Hawaiian Islands.  About 25 people attended the panel discussion, moderated by Ms. Tadia Rice, with guest speakers, Alphonso Braggs, Assistant Secretary, National Board of Directors, NAACP; Scarlett Diaz, Director of Client Strategy at Connext; and Roger Epstein, Roger Epstein, Legal Counsel and Advisor to the Zhou Enlai Peace Institute.  Each speaker helped, through own experiences, develop a shared sense of spiritual connection in an effort to move humanity toward a more loving world - using the power of courageous compassion to overcome fear, division, and despair.
