Dunedin Interfaith Council & UN Otago (New Zealand) UN Interfaith Harmony Week Event 2025

This year our Dunedin Interfaith Council and our local branch of the United Nations Association of NZ,  UN Otago, combined to organise our best ever UN Interfaith Harmony week event. We have been holding these events now, every year for the last eight years. This year we organised an interfaith meal and concert, which was attended by around  110 people, including 20 or so children. We have received very good feedback from everyone who attended. There was a wonderful spirit of "togetherness" as people from many different faiths and cultures came together for a lovely meal, Tongan Choir items, an  inspiring talk and fun face-painting for the children. A very worthwhile event indeed ! Please read our detailed pdf report and watch the two videos, and be encouraged ! Everyone left our event feeling uplifted and with more hope for the future, with new friends, and with memories of interfaith unity to cherish forever !    Arohanui   (much love)  to whoever reads this.
