This report is on two Women Encounter Events held on January 25 and on February 22. The Women Encounter event in January was about Cooking and Eating Together. Women from Ukraine led the women to cook Borscht and some Syrian women taught us how to make a vegetable salad, Tabbouleh. Cooking and eating together bind us as friends despite our diversities. Report 2 is on Women Encounter Event in February when women could talk to each other and discuss on the norms and expectations, the unwritten rules in relation to one's own culture, and the culture of the new country. Common element in these two events were singing together with bodily movements, drinking tea and coffee, cakes and fruits, sharing concerns... Note: Report 1 has a link to a reel video.
