On February 1, 2023, the Poway Interfaith Team (POINT) held its first live World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) community breakfast since COVID stopped in-person gatherings in 2020.  36 people attended the morning breakfast and program entitled “Communicating With Care” which featured Rev. Dr. Stephen Albert presenting ways for people of any faith, cultural or background, to EASILY RESOLVE CONFLICT with family members, work associates and new acquaintances, as they communicate through simple, effective techniques.  As with the 11 WIHW programs POINT had orchestrated since 2001, the last two being virtual, members of the San Diego community were plentiful.   Members from the City Council, Police Department, Fire Department, Anti-Defamation League, National Conflict Resolution Center, the Poway Unified School District, the Local Library, Hands of Peace as well as well as representatives from 10 different faiths enjoyed meeting, eating and communicating together during the 2-1/2 hour event.
