Interfaith Perspectives on Peace
"Interfaith Perspectives on Peace" was held on February 7th, 2021 at 3:00pm ET. This interfaith panel featured Anna Ikeda from SGI Buddhism, Rev. Will Rucker from the Christian tradition, Alan Edelman from the Jewish faith, Rev. Kelly Isola from Unity and Rev. Mary McCoy from Alliance of Divine Love. Panelists were encouraged to consider, "What does aspiring towards peace actually look like?" from their own unique faith traditions. This event was virtual. We had 50+ attendees join us on Zoom, 100 on Youtube, and over 200 on Facebook. The event continues to receive engagement. This program was one of many virtual offerings of the Interfaith Center at Miami University, which serves an inter-generational audience of global virtual community, Oxford community, Miami University campus, staff and faculty members.
