About this event

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmund Tutu share their wisdom (and humor) through a laugh-out-loud funny documentary film that is inspired by their international bestseller, The Book of Joy, These two global icons joined forces one last time to share ancient wisdom and cutting-edge neuroscience to show us exactly how we can each access more joy, no matter our circumstances. In honor of World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council is hosting this special film screening virtually from Tuesday, February 1, 2022 through Thursday, February 3, 2022. The link you will receive will only work on one of these 3 days. You can view the movie at your convenience on these days. You will also receive an invitation to attend a virtual interfaith discussion of the movie with the Greater Kanas City Interfaith Council on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. CST, via Zoom. Given all that has happened in our World in the past year, the Greater Kansas City Interfaith council brings this film to you to share inspiration and joy from these two religious leaders. While from different faiths, they were also true friends. Take a moment to watch the official movie trailer. If you actually were looking for an in-person event, this has also been arranged, here is the link to sign up for the in-person event: In-Person Screening Event for Mission Joy
