Interfaith `Ohana Hawaii 2021 Interfaith Harmony Week/Month Offerings The Gift of Aloha (LOVE) 9 events Saturday February 6th 8 AM HST The Gift of Aloha (LOVE) Where East Meets West A Zoom Webinar offering prayers and thoughts from religious leaders from around the world. Thursday February 11th 7:00 PM HST A virtual international candlelight ceremony. Friday February 12, 7:00 PM HST Gift of Aloha, Fostering Harmony A virtual interfaith inspirational program open to all with a host of different faith and cultural groups gathering on Zoom to share prayers and inspirational words in this time of separation and challenge, hosted by the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Honolulu and the Baha'is of the Hawaiian Islands. A Zoom interactive meditation and blessing session. Participants will experience the power of Love Peace Harmony to create harmony in the heart and soul, the family, the community, and in the world. This session combines active and passive meditation, with a unique sacred art form, in a way that brings more love and light to the heart and soul. I love my heart and soul I love all humanity Join hearts and souls together Love, peace, and harmony Love Peace and Harmony Tuesday February 16th 7:00 PM HST The Gift of Aloha - Remembering Watch Night A service to commemorate the African American tradition called “Watch Night” - a tradition that remembers and honors the services held on December 31st 1862 when enslaved and free Blacks came together in churches and homes, to the first celebrate the first "Watch Night” awaiting news that President Abraham Lincoln had signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was signed and issued the next day on January 1, 1863. This celebration includes expressions of freedom and liberty within the diverse religions of our Aloha state. Friday February 20th 4:00 PM HST. The World Religions Conference, A Zoom Webinar providing representatives from seven different religions an opportunity to share what their religions teaches about the Gift of Aloha (Love) in an interfaith setting. Attendees will interact with the presenters by asking questions after the presentations through a moderator. Tuesday February 23rd 10:00-11:30 PM The Role of the Clergy in the time of the Pandemic A Zoom Webinar providing representatives from several different religions an opportunity to share how their faith tradition views their role in serving their communities during COVID 19. The Lt. Governor for the State of Hawaii will be the keynote speaker to bring us up to date on the states latest efforts to combat the disease.

Tuesday February 23rd 6:30-8:00 PM Peace, Love Harmony ~ Universal Love Song One song can change the world! A virtual event, where spiritual leaders from around the world, who are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals coordinating campaigns express their faith rooted in human rights and fundamental freedoms. The leaders will share daily actions we can all take to achieve the 2030 Agenda. The panel will share how their beliefs provide potential to build back better in beauty and balance beyond the multiple crises facing humanity. Saturday February 27th 8:00 AM HST The Gift of Aloha Planting Ceremony In this live in-person activity, (using proper social distancing) attendees will participate in a Hawaiian sacred planting ceremony.
