The Faculty of Political Science of the University of Milan is hosting a open roundtable between the religious and political leaders and the University students. The event celebrates 30 years of COREIS the Italian Islamic Religious Community interreligious and intercultural activities in Italy, Europe and worldwide. This specific meeting intends to develop a interdisciplinary ongoing debate between local political and religious leaders analizing the causes of conflicts, discrimination and hatred, trying to avoid the abuse and misinterpretation of sacred texts as slogans and propaganda. The A Common Word, the Marrakesh Declaration, the Human Fraternity document and the Makkah Charter will be among the reading materials to prepare and engage the students in the open debate
