Pluralism for Peace is part of an Interfaith Youth Leadership Fellowship program, initiated by an organisation called Rubaroo in Hyderabad (https://www.rubaroo.org/), India. Their requirement for the fellows was to undertake a social action project on interfaith solidarity aligned to any of UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I proposed this virtual project of building a crowdsourced public archive of pluralism practices, inherent to India's diverse society, through simple things like honouring faith objects from other religions. The idea is to celebrate these simple acts of faith that will serve as a necessary reminder of the nation's pluralistic legacy in a time of intense polarisation. It aligns with the UN SDG #16 of Promoting peaceful and inclusive societies. I launched this project on Interfaith Harmony Week this year but plan to keep building it beyond the fellowship.
