The Nevada Interfaith Association is recruiting teen attendees for its second annual NIA Youth Summit for area adolescents ages 14-18, occurring January 25, 2020 at the University of Nevada, Reno. The goal of the Summit is to increase mutual understanding and respect among diverse religious communities and to provide ideas for attendees to build a life worth living. The Summit focuses on building leadership skills and creating a dialogue among attendees, including hosting a panel of nonprofit organizations for a future service project, a keynote address by youth advocate and TedX speaker Collins Kartchner, and interactive and creative ways for area youth to build a life of purpose. Attendance is just $25 per teen, however scholarships are available for request during check-out.
