Celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week hosted by the Victoria Multifaith Society (VMS), the UVic Multifaith Services (MFS), UVic Human Rights and Equity Office and the Community Partnership Network (CPN).

This year's theme focuses on reconciliation and talking through diversity. Students of all philosophies and faith communities are invited to be part of this engaging evening of conversation, exploration, inter-faith activities and delicious food! Pre-registration starts at 4:45pm-5:00pm. Please arrive early to allow time to find parking and register. The event will include: ? Keynote Speaker John Borrows, "Lessons of Reconciliation: What can we learn from Indigenous Spirituality to help us create harmony?" ? Inter-faith Student Panel— who will discuss “What from my spiritual tradition helps us talk through our diversity?” ? Facilitated Small Group Discussions exploring impact of faith and community ? Interactive activities: Sikh turban demos, Muslim headscarf helpers, Hindu henna hand painting. ? Tasty East Indian food served during break Please note that registration is limited to 60 participants. Priority registration will be for young people (16-35 years) and to ensure representation of all faiths at the event. This event is being held to celebrate and honour World Interfaith Harmony Week 2019.
