Youth from different religious and cultural backgrounds gathered on President’s Day, February 19, 2019, for the annual Interfaith Youth Day of Service. This year’s keynote speaker was Saint Paul City Council Member Rebecca Noecker, the first woman ever elected to represent Ward 2. See pictures and more on our Facebook page. The annual event includes a keynote speaker, musical entertainment, workshops and service projects. Transportation to and from service sites and lunch are provided. This event is an opportunity for 6–12 grade students from all religious and cultural backgrounds to deepen their own faith and learn about other faith traditions. Rebecca Noecker left the young people with these beautiful words from Jewish tradition: “The whole world is a very narrow bridge a very narrow bridge a very narrow bridge The whole world is a very narrow bridge –  A very narrow bridge. And the main thing to recall –  is not to be afraid –  not to be afraid at all. And the main thing to recall –  is not to be afraid at all.”
