The Nevada Interfaith Association presents the 2nd Annual NIA Youth Summit, created just for teens 14-18! The goal of this Summit is to create mutual understanding and respect by bringing teens together from diverse spiritual and religious backgrounds for interactive activities and discussions. Attendees will have the chance to learn about volunteerism opportunities in our own backyard, and about what it takes to create a life worth living from renowned speaker Collin Kartchner, who will discuss the perils and opportunities of social media for youth. The event takes place Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at The Joe at the University of Nevada, Reno, and includes lunch and snacks. Attendance is limited to just 100 teens, so make sure to register today! Admission is $25 per teen, but scholarships are available.
