To celebrate the week Moreland City Council invites you to visit St. Peter's Anglican Church and Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery in Fawkner. Short walking distance from each other the visit will be opportunity to:

• Visit and tour your local church and temple Learn about their religious practices and history
• Meet your local community and religious leaders
• Learn about their role as pastoral care providers to the community
• Share morning tea and lunch and enjoy a short walk around the neighbourhood

10:45am - Arrive at Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery; 105 Lynch Rd, Fawkner 10:45-11:45am - Meet the Master of the Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery:

• Introduction temple history and the famous founder Thich Quang Duc Brief introduction to Vietnamese Buddhism and practices
• Discussion and questions and answers

11:45am - Light lunch will be served in temple community hall 12:30pm - Event concludes
