Join us on the Family Day Weekend to honor and celebrate our common home in an Interfaith Festival of Creation on Sunday Feb. 16, at The Mary Ward Centre 1pm to 5pm. There will be food, poetry, prayer, music, film, information booths featuring

various faith ecological initiatives and some children's' activities. A variety of informal programming will take place from 1pm to 3pm.  At 3pm we will begin our formal programming with a 15 minute key note talk from Simon Appolloni the co-author of "For Earth Sake: Toward a Compassionate Ecology," and author of "Convergent Knowing: Christianity and Science in Conversation with a Suffering Creation." This will be followed by ritual, music, poetry, and some input from Roop Sidhu, the President of Eco Sikh Canada, and Imam Vinay Khetia. Throughout the program young people will offer creative presentations on the United Nations' Earth Charter
