The Northeastern University Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Service in collaboration with affiliated student groups hosted an event centered on one of the three pillars of our mission as an office: dialogue. We brought people together to discuss important and relevant issues though the lens of interfaith and diverse community-building. This dialogue night was open to all members of the community in addition to representatives from our wide array of student religious groups, like the Islamic Society of Northeastern, Hindu Communities of Northeastern, Northeastern Hillel, and the Northeastern Catholic Center.   This in-depth discussion looked at how love intertwines with faith, and how different traditions interpret and inspire us to show love. A student-run panel with representatives from different faiths came up with questions to help guide discussion, like how do you define love and how does your worldview shape how you choose to love? Through this event, we invited participants to look at their own individual spiritual or religious journeys and then look deeper into how the ways we show and receive love effect our relationship with spirituality.
