Together with Mary, these are meetings that are organised here in Brussels, in a cosmopolitan and international city where there is much diversity. The aim is to create a link, to bring together the different cultures. Together with Mary is a group of Catholics and Muslims, the figure of Mary is very important. In the Koran, she is mentioned several times. The aim of this project is the meeting, that Catholics and Muslims meet and share an important moment around Mary in Molenbeek.   In Belgium, Ensemble avec Marie has already taken place in Etterbeek, Louvain-la-Neuve, in the prison of Ittre and in Koekelberg. This year it will be Molenbeek. Why Molenbeek? Because it is a municipality with a very culturally diverse population. The magnificent personality of Mary is venerated by both Muslims and Catholics, and is mentioned many times in the Koran. For all men and women, young and old, whatever our origin, Mary is this admirable and undeniable person who has a unifying power. So let us meet and celebrate her together.
