This meeting sought to promote family union, peace, and the value of collaboration between participating communities with the singing of parrandas, bonnets and carols as an important tradition that honors the birth of the Child Jesus. In this activity, as URI members, we talk about the value that peace represents in these times in the world, calling for union and family love in moments of challenge, as well as in times of celebration.
The activity was carried out on February 7 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm with the support of the Board of Directors of Paso Real Nucleo 2, with: Rodolfo Vásquez (President); Wilmer Nuñez (Vice President); Silvia Arellano (Secretary); and Rafaela Aponte (Administrator).
Likewise, we have the support of neighbors who joined forces to make this encounter possible, where love and peace reigned, thanks to the power of music and collaboration. Participants: Parrandita Nucleo 1: Directed by Josefina Aumaitre; Parrandita Core 2: Directed by Andreamaría; Parrandita Core 3: Directed by Daniel Miranda.
Musicians: Rafael Capó (violin); Nicolas Carpio (drum); Wilmer Nuñez (drum); Dwight Carpio (cuatro).
