Keynote speaker The Rev. Dr. Danielle J. Buhuro, ACPE The Rev. Dr. Danielle J. Buhuro is an ACPE Certified/CPE Supervisor at Advocate Aurora South Suburban, Trinity and Christ Hospitals. Rev. Dr. Buhuro is passionate about issues of race, gender and sexuality. She is the author of Spiritual Care In An Age of #Blacks Lives Matter: Examining the Spiritual and Prophetic Needs of African Americans Living In A Violent America. Dr. Buhuro attended Chicago Theological Seminary, where she earned the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees respectively. She’s currently a Ph.D student studying in the area of social media identity, violence and pastoral theology. Dr.Buhuro serves on the national board of directors of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education. She also serves as an adjunct faculty, teaching D Min. and M Div. courses in Spiritual Care at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Buhuro facilitaties numerous workshops nation-wide on African American Pastoral Care and African-centered psychology. Dr. Buhuro is same-gender loving and excited to be currently engaged to her life partner, Christina. Together they parent a son, Ezekiel, and are currently in the adoption process of their daughter, Nailah Ameryst.   Tickets for this event will be $15.00 per registrant – includes access to a recording of the event, available for two weeks beginning on January 29. A special $10.00 rate for a?ccess to the recording of the ?event only is available.
