On Thursday, February 6, 2020, URI West Africa Regional Office, in partnership with three of our local Cooperation Circles in Nigeria - Women and Girl Child Rescue and Development Initiative, New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation, and Center for Applied Spiritual Science - hosted 123 young men and women from four Secondary Schools in Jos, Plateau State, for a one-day event to celebrate the 2020 United Nations Interfaith Harmony Week. The event was also attended by religious leaders, educators, community leaders, and parents. The guest speaker was His Grace Salika Dasa, Temple President of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCKON) in Jos, Nigeria.
