We, the URI members across the Middle East & North Africa support, have been honoring the WIHW since 2009 and we will continue with this practice forever. URI MENA has a seed grant award system to encourage its groups (URI CCs) across MENA region to celebrate this occasion. Three URI CCs won URI MENA WIHW awards in 2019 (two from Yemen and one from Jordan). in the perious years many URI groups in Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Yemen, Israel won the URI MENA WIHW Awards.

URI MENA believes that WIHW is a way to celebrate our diversity and advance our common humanity. WIHW is a practical way to demonstrate interfaith cooperation, fight against prejudices and healing our cultural Idealization. Also, it is so effective in training people to emphasize our commonalities as opposed to our differences.
