Interfaith Interconnect will present the February Religion Chat at at St. Augustine's Catholic Church 3999 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, on February 8, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. The doors at the church will be open at 4:30 PM and close at 6:30PM so that attendees can visit with each other before or after the official program if they choose to do so. This event is free of charge. Everyone is welcome.

The topic will be "What Myths Would You Like to Dispel about Your Religion or Religious Practices? What Are Frequent Misconceptions?"

 

The speakers will be Rev. Lucas Hergert, Pastor of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Livermore and Ms. Karen Miller, Pastoral Associate, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Religion Chat is a monthly interfaith forum held on the second Wednesday of the month at one of Interfaith Interconnect's sixteen participating congregations in Livermore and Pleasanton. The group's mission statement reads, "To enrich, educate, and inform ourselves and others about the great diversity of faiths and cultures in our Valley."
