At The LDS Church History Museum is located at 45 No. West Temple (SLC, UT 84150), directly across from the LDS Tabernacle, and next to the Family History Museum.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day SaintsClosed for the last year, the newly renovated LDS Church History Museum was recently opened again to the public. The LDS Church History Museum provides videos, informational displays, and historical artifacts, to tell the story of the early LDS Church history from 1820 to 1846. This will be a special guided tour for the Interfaith Season, by the staff of the LDS Church History Museum. Refreshments will be served to participants at the end of the 1 hour tour. The tour will include the brand new 10 minute movie, in a full surround theatre, of the First Vision , a pivotal event in the early life of the LDS Prophet Joseph Smith.
