DESCRIPTION: The UN World Interfaith Harmony Week: Feb 2-4 A multi-media festival celebrating harmony and acceptance among people of all faiths and secular beliefs. According to the 2012 Pew Research Study, religious hostility has reached a six-year high. Over 60 countries worldwide have seen the level of social hostility rise to “high” or “very high” levels. KPU wants to be part of the solution. On February 2, 2016, in concert with the United Nations World Interfaith and Harmony Week, the KPU Multi-Faith Centre will be hosting its 2nd annual UN World Interfaith Harmony Week festival. This is an open invitation to KPU community members of all backgrounds, disciplines, faiths and worldviews to join this movement. Submit a creative work embodying and communicating the message of peace, harmony and dialogue, expressing your creativity through your medium of choice. This event is hosted by KPU's Multi-faith Centre. WHO: All are welcome to view the Showcase of Submission WHEN: Feb 2-4 WHERE: Richmond Rotunda More information at kpu.ca/multifaith
