I am sahib Nizam 23 year old young man from the very backward area of Pakistan like Chitral. I am the president of youth association for peace and also working in tourism sector of Pakistan, I will celebrating interfaith harmony week namely the journey of interfaith harmony, with other volunteer’s members of the association we are planned to start our interfaith harmony journey on 1st February 2016 to 7th February from the last part of Pakistan like Chitral to Islamabad 24 hours travel and then we start our journey from Islamabad to Konjurab top 32 hours travel at China border and then return to Islamabad, during our interfaith harmony journey we have create awareness about interfaith harmony and meet government official, community activist, teachers, students, sports man to promote the peace and beauty of Pakistan. Pakistan faces an assortment of challenges today on account of phenomena such as militancy, religious extremism and violent radicalization. Besides damaging peace, security and stability of the country, these phenomena are also undermining desirable social values such as peaceful co-existence, pluralism, harmony, tolerance and fairness at the societal level. The people of Pakistan, who are the ultimate victims of such hazards, largely lack awareness about the threats extremism and radicalization. The dearth of ideological responses in the country to counter extremist and violent ideologies further confuses the public opinion and makes people vulnerable to what religious extremists and militants offer them in the name of religion.
