Living Values Education for Achieving Social-Inclusion and Equality" (LVE for SIE)
The Celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week focuses on the issues or problems of pluralism, religious freedom, and human rights. These issues are very challenging in Indonesia, especially relating to cases of social exclusion, discrimination and inequality, and the growing of radicalism, experienced by certain religious and ethnic groups, especially minorities. We, The Asia Foundation and partners of “Living Values Education for achieving Social-Inclusion and Equality" (LVE for SIE) program, during the month of February this year, will be holding activities like workshops, discussions, seminars, meditations, and celebrations, in the 9 Indonesian cities of Medan, Jambi, Jakarta, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Malang, Manado, Ambon and Kupang, involving, youth, students, schools and university teachers, and religious leaders.
