Photographer and author John Noltner drove 40,000 miles across America asking people the simple question, "What does peace mean to you?" In a world of increasing polarization, the stories he encountered along the way help rediscover the common humanity that connects us. From civil rights activists who marched with Dr. King to people who lost family members in 9/11, the diverse stories speak of hope, healing, transformation and forgiveness. Join John as he shares stories from his journey and the lessons learned on the road to peace. The evening will also include the stories from the UND community responding to the question, “How do you work for justice and peace?”
