World Interfaith Harmony Week 2026 is being observed worldwide from 1 to 7 February under the leadership of the United Nations to promote peace, tolerance, and mutual respect among religions. The initiative highlights the need for dialogue and cooperation in a world facing division and conflict. Rooted in the 2007 “A Common Word” movement, it emphasizes shared ethical values across faiths. The observance was formally proposed at the UN in 2010 by Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad.
