Ethics education plays a powerful role in building social cohesion. It fosters interfaith and intercultural dialogue and learning, helping children and young people reduce prejudice, engage respectfully across differences, resolve conflicts peacefully, and become active contributors to the well-being of their communities.
This #InterfaithHarmonyWeek, we call on Ministries of Education and education leaders worldwide to prioritize ethics education: embedding it in national curricula and equipping teachers with the tools and training to nurture empathy, mutual respect, and meaningful dialogue in diverse classrooms.
