On Wednesday morning, Feb 4, 2026, the Poway Interfaith Team held its 16th Annual Interfaith Harmony Breakfast at the Mainstream Café in Poway California.  In attendance were representatives from throughout San Diego including the police and fire departments, city council members, business leaders and people from over a dozen different faiths.  Entitled “Quilt of Many Colors – Different People, One Community,” more than 30 people heard talks about people getting together to make quilts which would carry love to people in need.  In teams during breakfast, they created paper quilts of peace, hope and harmonizing love which was displayed on the restaurant walls.  No one wanted to leave as they renewed old relationships and created new ones.
