VOICES OF CULTURE: CELEBRATING DIVERSITY IN UNITY
From February 4 to 8, 2025, the UNESCO Chair in Comparative Study of World Religions at IIAU will host a Week of Scientific, Cultural, Educational, and Sports Events dedicated to World Interfaith Harmony Week under the theme "Human Fraternity and Interfaith Dialogue – A Factor of International Solidarity."
As part of the celebrations, the second event, "Voices of Culture: Celebrating Diversity in Unity," will take place on February 4, 2025. This cultural-educational gathering will highlight Uzbekistan’s rich multicultural heritage, fostering interfaith harmony and interethnic cooperation.
The event will bring together government representatives, cultural organizations, religious leaders, and over 200 students to celebrate diversity through music, dance, and dialogue. Performances from Turkmen, Uygur, and Bashkir cultural centers will showcase Uzbekistan’s vibrant traditions, reinforcing the values of respect, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
This initiative aims to strengthen intercultural understanding and promote global solidarity, setting the stage for future efforts in fostering dialogue and tolerance.
